Each and every year, V-103 celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We also acknowledge the continued journey of civil equality for African Americans and other races in the United States and abroad. On Monday, January 21, 2013, we will be all over the ATL remembering Dr. King and doing our part in taking his vision From the Dream to the Reality!
It all kicks off at 6AM, as the Ryan Cameron Morning Show broadcasts live from the annual MLK Service at Ebeneezer Baptist Church on Auburn Avenue. Also, throughout the day, our very own, Jean Ross, will check-in live from the Presidential Inauguration in Washington, D.C. Then, at 2pm, V-103 will broadcast live from the annual King Day Parade. It’s a march of social change from Auburn Avenue to Peachtree! For more details regarding the King Day Service and the march, visit www.mlkmarchaaar.org.
