Chris Tucker Considering ‘Rush Hour’ AND ‘Friday’ Sequels

Ten years after the last “Rush Hour” installment and some 22 since his inimitable debut in “Friday,” actor/comedian Chris Tucker told The Ryan Cameron Morning Show with Wanda Smith today he’s actually considering one more turn in both franchises.

He’s already traveled to Shanghai to meet with “Rush Hour” co-star Jackie Chan about a fourth installment of the buddy action comedy, with another pow-wow planned in Los Angeles next month.

“Jackie wants to do another one, I want to do another one,” Tucker revealed. He’s even seen an early version of a script he “kinda” likes; but “it’s got to be hot if we’re going to do another one.”

Meanwhile a fourth edition of the film that first made movie audiences fall in love with Tucker – “Friday” – is also in the script stages, he says. And Tucker’s interested in that too.
