Cleanup Underway After Three Tornadoes Touch Down In Metro Atlanta

The National Weather Service is confirming that 3 tornadoes touched down in metro Atlanta yesterday. Carroll County is where the first twister touched down before moving through Paulding and Haralson counties. In Cobb County, a roof was blown off a business. That second tornado also passed through Buckhead and Vinings. Residents reported the third storm around Johns Creek, Cumming and Buford. There were no injuries reported. Thousands of residents were without power because of fallen power lines and trees.

Two dozen tornadoes were reported in 5 states. Five people died in storms in Alabama and Tennessee.
