Some UGA and Falcons fans watched their teams break their hearts over the weekend, while – judging from the online reaction alone – a lot of people watched Michel’es depiction of the many times Dr. Dre seemed to try to break her face.
“Twitter was going nuts!” following the debut of the Lifetime biopic, “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge and Michel’le,” Big Tigger reported in today’s Trending Topics. “Despite Michel’le’s many attempts to speak out on domestic abuse she [allegedly] suffered at Dre’s hands during the ’90s, it’s as if… they’re JUST realizing it might have happened!”
There were claims on social media that some won’t support Dre or the rapper/producer/label president/entertainment mogul’s business ventures anymore, Tigger continued; to which a response was: “Y’all are $700 million too late.” (Responding to the deal Dre reported brokered with Apple following the huge success of his Beats By Dre headphones.)
“Interestingly enough,” added Tigger, “a year ago in August Dre apologized to the women he’d hurt.”
“I’m doing everything I can so I never resemble that man again,” read part of that statement. But he never specifically addressed Michel’le.
“LOTS of people digging into that situation at this point,” Tigger noted.
