On Stage And Backstage At Beyonce’s Formation World Tour Stop In Atlanta: The Ryan Report

A mere four months after she filled the Georgia Dome once, Beyonce was back in a packed stadium last night to make sure Atlanta knew how special it was to her – and at one point during the three-hour-plus Formation World Tour’s return, acknowledged that she knew the city had lost someone special to it.

“Beyonce always has her finger on the culture,” Ryan Cameron remarked in today’s Ryan Report. And in the midst of performing her 2009 single “Diva,” “she changes up and does a tribute to Shawty Lo without speaking a word!”

Lo – born Carlos Walker – was killed in a single-car accident last week; and was particularly beloved for hailing the Bankhead area of town in his (“Dey Know”) and his group’s (D4L) hit singles.

“Appreciate that love, B,” added Wanda Smith, who spotted Jay-Z backstage at the Dome on Monica‘s social media.
