Is Andre 3000 The Next One To Take On Drake? The Ryan Report

A year ago Meek Mill speculated aloud that Drake didn’t write his own rhymes, and here we are a summer later still talking about the same subject.

Thanks Frank Ocean – as the featured verse from Andre 3000 on your new album “Blonde” has helped keep the assumptions going on social media.

“After 20 years in I’m so naive I was under the impression that everyone wrote their own verses/ It’s coming back different and yeah that [expletive] hurts me /I’m humming and whistling to those not deserving/I’ve stumbled and lived every word/ Was I working just way too hard?”

“Now they’re saying, ‘OK – Is he talking about Drake?!” Ryan Cameron mocked in today’s Ryan Report. “We don’t know –
but the whole verse to me is crazy!”

(Maybe all will be revealed this Thursday or Friday when Drake and Future come to Philips Arena. If Drake brings out the more daring half of OutKast here like he did Eminem in his hometown Detroit days ago – following reports that “Slim Shady” supposedly had a problem with “Drizzy” artistically – then maybe that will silence all of this. Until next week.)
