Back in July, the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management decided to open up the naming of a brand new 400-foot tunnel-boring machine to Atlanta’s residents. The drill is currently at work creating a reservoir from the Bellwood quarry to the Chattahoochee River.
Well, they’ve narrowed it down to three options and the obvious answer is…name the thing after Killer Mike, obviously.
While the other options are ATL-centric and appropriate in their own right, don’t you want your kids to grow up learning about how DRILLER MIKE helped to create an emergency drinking water reservoir? I know I do.
Vote here, you know…for the kids.
