Chris LeDay is a 34 year old Air Force Veteran. He posted the video, shot by an acquaintance in Baton Rouge, of the police killing of Alton Sterling. It’s the shooting in which the police officers claimed that their body cameras had fallen off. Since helping the video go viral, LeDay has been fired from his job at Moody Air Base in Marietta, Ga. He says that he lost his security clearance, after he was held on bogus allegations. In the end, he was shackled and detained for a 2 year old traffic violation. Reports indicate that, according to police in Dunwoody, Ga, LeDay’s arrest had nothing to do with the video post. Moody Air Base apparently alleges that an open warrant for LeDay was found during additional screening for the ground technician position that LeDay had started a month before the arrest.
