May’s three year tenure as CEO, carries the stain of having undergone a corruption investigation. The probe, lead by former Georgia Attorney General Mike Bowers, was highly critical of May. The CEO is the one that ordered the investigation and chose Bowers to lead it. May chose not to seek election to the position of CEO.
