The final 6 states are weighing in today as the race continues for the U.S. presidency. Primary contests are being held in California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and the Dakotas. Hillary Clinton’s win in Puerto Rico over the weekend, according to compiled delegate and super delegate counts, put her above the number of delegates needed to secure the Democratic presidential nomination. According to CNN’s count, Clinton has secured 1,812 pledged delegates and 572 superdelegates for a total of 2,384 delegates — one more than needed for the nomination.
