Meek Mill Breaks House Arrest for Beyoncé Formation Tour

Don't worry, he got permission.

There are certain things that warrant breaking house arrest, and Beyoncé is certainly one of them. Even though a judge tacked on an additional eight days to Meek Mill’s house arrest sentence last week, he managed to get permission to leave his premises and take part in Beyoncé’s Formation Tour when it stopped in Philadelphia on Saturday (June 4).

Part of Meek’s punishment has involved not recording and releasing new music, but he received pre-approval from a judge to attend and perform at the concert, according to TMZ. Meek made a surprise appearance during DJ Khaled’s opening set.

Beyond that performance, it seems like he got to chill with his girlfriend Nicki Minaj and a crew that included Jay Z and DMX. Minaj posted a photo on Instagram with everyone standing together looking fierce as all get out.

Meek’s house arrest will be reviewed once he completes the appropriate community service requirement. His house arrest was extended because he did not follow the judge’s orders about where he should serve his time.

One fan captured a snippet of Meek’s performance with Khaled. Watch below.
