At The Stellar Awards in Nashville last week, this was the year for Tamela Mann. She needed track shoes because she made so many trips to the podium to accept several Stellar Awards. Just to name a few, she won a Stellar Award for Artist of the Year, and she received the Albertina Walker Artist of the Year Award. Her CD, “Best Days,” was voted CD of the Year, and her hit single that was produced by Kirk Franklin, “Take Me to the King,” won for Song of the Year.

We must also congratulate Atlanta’s own Lecrae. He won for having the Best Rap Hip Hop Gospel CD of the Year. It was also a great night for Tasha Cobbs. She won Stellar Awards in the new artist and contemporary female of the year categories. Her CD, “Grace,” also won for Contemporary CD of the year. Congratulations to all over the Stellar Award winners from V-103.
