Police Search For Persons Of Interest In Murder Of Bishop’s Brother
Atlanta (WVEE)-Atlanta police continue to investigate the robbery and murder of the younger brother of Bishop Wiley Jackson founder and pastor of the Gospel Tabernacle Cathedral. Police have now released photos of two persons of interest in the case.
47 year old Jerrick Jackson was shot to death during an apparent robbery at his home in the 2400 block of Lowe Street Tuesday morning just before 1 a.m. Atlanta police are looking for several men who robbed Jackson and his fiancee outside of their home then forced the couple into the home where Jackson fought with one of the men in an attempt to keep him from discovering his fiancee’s daughter.
Jackson died after being shot several times in the torso during the altercation.
Atlanta police have now released photos of two persons of interest in the case. Police say the photos were taken from a video at a business in the 3100 block of Donald Lee Hollowell about 9 hours after the murder. Atlanta police say someone tried to use a debit card stolen from Jackson’s fiancee at the business.
Police are also looking for a black Mustang that the men may have been riding in on the night of the robbery.
