Atlanta, GA (WVEE) – A White House official is confirming President Barack Obama’s attendance  at Morehouse College this spring. It appears the President will deliver the commencement address on May 19th.

Typically, President Obama speaks each spring at a number of college and university commencement ceremonies.

Last year, he spoke at commencement ceremonies at Barnard College in New York, which is an  all-female school.

Morehouse College is considered one the most elite black colleges in the country.

The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. is among the institution’s alumni.
