There was THE LEG that Jennifer Lopez flashed in her black dress, THAT DRESS that Carrie Underwood had on (that also served as a movie screen) and then there was THE HAT(?) that The-Dream not only wore to The GRAMMYs last night, but put on full display for the television audience when he went up to accept the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration award.
Both Ryan Cameron and Jay-Z basically qualified it as “swap meet chic.”
But it was Jay-Z’s onstage comments that The-Dream (who produced the inescapable “Single Ladies” for Jay-Z’s wife, Beyonce) responded to this afternoon, on The Big Tigger Show.
“Jay said something cause he’s a hater,” he contended playfully.
Nevertheless, the GRAMMY winner born Terius Nash added that he is not beyond shopping at said “swap meets.” “Every now and then man, I have to take my Ferrari down there to pick up me something so I can remind myself. You have to stay humble.”
The-Dream went on to explain exactly what led to his Grammy ensemble, as well as give a heads-up to the fans of his own CDs as to the theme of his upcoming album.
In a sentence: “I’m just out here trying to procreate.”
