Today, WAOK & V103 have stopped the music in light of our most recent tragedies with gun violence at Price Middle School and at Morehouse College. Thankfully, there were no fatalities at either location, but the point of taking things to picking up a gun to resolve problems is not the right solution.

Our youth go to school to learn and better themselves for a brighter tomorrow. This is a call to action for our communities to step up and be a positive light and help eliminate the bullying and negativity that seems to have harbored in the classroom. Parents should not have to mourn the loss of their child to gun violence. As followers of Christ, we must use our faith to give all the issues over to Jesus, the only one who has all power, but also to pray that He covers us with His blood.
