Today the music industry learned of the passing of one of its hip-hop legends: Adam Yauch, of the Beastie Boys.

The Twitterverse, as it usually does when someone as important at MCA passes, saw an outpouring of people expressing their sadness for the loss.

Everyone from Justin Timberlake to Russell Simmons to will.i.am to Snoop Dogg weighed in…
