Six Flags Over Georgia is putting the word out early that it will fill 2,400 seasonal positions as the park gets ready for its 45th anniversary season, beginning March 17. Job seekers, must apply online at sixflagsjobs.com. You must complete applications by Jan. 20 to be considered for an invitation-only hiring interview later in the month. You must also be at least 16 years old.
Jobs will be offered all over the park in park services, food services, ride operations, loss prevention, ticket services, security, cash control, human resources, marketing research and for toll booth attendants.
Home Depot is looking for a major increase in their workforce before the spring planting season. The home improvement retailer says it will hire 70 thousand workers across the country, 1500 in the Metro Atlanta area. The jobs include inside sales associates, lot attendants, cashiers and home and garden associates. Job seekers can begin applying immediately online, but can also apply in person at individual stores.
Home Depot also announced it will open a new customer support call center this year in Cobb County, bringing in 700 jobs.
