Today we remember the heros, victims and the families who were affected by the events of September 11th, 2001. It’s a day that will always live in our memories. The day America changed forever.

On September 11, 2001 america watched as two planes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York City, another into the Pentagon in Washington and a fourth plane that crashed into the ground in Shanksville, PA. In all, over 3 thousand and 50 people died this day.

So this morning, in honor of those affected by this tragic event, Larry Tinsley stopped the music to observe a moment of silence to mark the times that America was attacked on September 11th, 2001. He also closed out his special tribute by playing the Star Spangled Banner, performed by Jennifer Hudson. Click below to hear what you missed.
